Mistral welcomes Michael Gillen as Scotland’s new Regional Sales Manager
Michael Gillen is Mistral Group’s most senior representative in Scotland following his appointment as Regional Sales Manager.
In his new role, Michael is responsible for meeting the requirements of our large client base and is the first point of contact for all bus and coach enquiries in the country.
Chief Operating Officer for Mistral Bus and Coach Steve Low said Michael’s extensive experience in the bus and coach industry would ensure quality service delivery.
In 1990, Michael founded Scotland’s Gillen’s Coaches with one vehicle and had built his enterprise into an impressive fleet of 17 vehicles which included buses, coaches and mini-buses when it was sold in 2008.
From that time until he joined Mistral Group this week, Michael continued to work in the industry where he inspected and sold end of lease vehicles.
“Michael has an extensive number of contacts in the Scottish bus and coach market, which is a great asset for both sides of our business,” said Mr Low.
“His lengthy industry experience meant he was able to get up and running very quickly and he has already secured new business for us.
“Michael is a confident operator and is already making an impact – I welcome him to the Group.”
For Michael, the move to Mistral was the right choice.
